How do you know Marvin Recruiter ?
I was approached by Amaury in June 2022. I was using an ATS that was becoming obsolete and wasn't giving me satisfaction. I was thinking of changing it.
I chose Marvin Recruiter because the business developer, Amaury, took a real interest in my business needs.
How many ATSs do you know?
I've known and/or used a total of 5 ATS with big names like Werecruit or Taleez, but also with small independents.
What did you like about Marvin Recruiter ?
What I appreciate most about Marvin Recruiter is the constant evolution of its features.
It's an evolving ATS. I wanted to get back to some of the options I had in my old ATS, and features are being added as I go along.
The team is also very open to feedback on new ideas. The solution is technical and the approach human.
It's an evolving ATS.
How long have you been using Marvin Recruiter ?
Almost 6 months, since June. Amaury offered me a demo of the tool and then I got a free trial of all the features for 7 days. Amaury called back right after that week, but I hadn't had time to use it, so he gave me another week's access. I appreciated the gesture.
As soon as I started using Marvin, I saw an immediate improvement in my productivity. I'm now fully satisfied.
What are Marvin Recruiter 's qualities?
- The aesthetics of the tool are very visual and easy to read, and the information can be found intuitively. What's more, the tool is accessible on smaller
screens such as tablets and Chromebooks. - The kanban method = I can see right away where I stand. I can see which jobs are available, how long they've been there, who's in the process, and the visuals enable me to see the information quickly and accurately.
- It's an evolving tool that's constantly evolving with new, relevant tools. When I make recommendations, they are taken into account. The Marvin team listens to user feedback. For example, there was a button that was removed, and following my comments they put it back. I report bugs and they're quickly taken into account. There's a very good exchange with the technical team.
- The business prospecting aspect: I see where I stand on the customer side = have the conditions been sent? Signed? Which customers can I prospect later?
- The career site, simple, effective and candidate-oriented.
- Invoicing: I save precious time searching for invoicing information. Once invoicing has been done, I can see the conditions in the company tab and it's indicated directly.
- Parameterized automations are very efficient, and I save
a considerable amount of time by using a single tool.
Example: If a candidate changes stage, I'm invited to
automatically send him an e-mail with a personalized Template
. Each process failure must be justified by
a reason. Last but not least, I can send a Whatsapp or schedule a
point with the candidate in my calendar from within the tool! Everything is
accessible. - There's a sharing link on the companies. I can send my customers the updated follow-up of candidates in the process. With this unique link
, they can consult the profiles without asking me.
How do you use Marvin Recruiter ? What are the most frequently used functions?
- I mainly use it for tracking candidate processes: sourcing, telephone qualification, putting the candidate through the process, tracking the candidate through the process until he or she has been hired, and then being able to consult the company file.
- I like the feature that automatically puts the appointment in Google calendar (saving 10 minutes each time).
- Mails with customizable templates
- The hunting part on LinkedIn.
- The company prospecting tab and the company sheet with contact details for each structure are very practical for everyday use.
- Tracking each candidate profile is very easy thanks to the kanban table, which is visual and very efficient.
How much time do you estimate you earn a week thanks to Marvin?
Thanks to Marvin Recruiter, I estimate that I save 2 hours a day in work time, thanks to the automation and simple, efficient navigation of the tool. I no longer have to go through my mailbox or my diary, and I avoid copying information, which can be a source of error. I save a lot of time tracking candidates and contracts.
This enables me to be more productive and responsive, and to find and contact candidates quickly. I can find anyone in my database thanks to the phone number search. Automatic appointment scheduling in Google Calendar also saves me time, as does the Whatsapp link.
My customers save time too, thanks to the links for sharing updated candidate tracking information.
How does Marvin help you in your day-to-day prospecting?
Marvin allows me to track my prospects by stage so that I can intervene quickly thanks to the kanban table. I can track the status of
prospecting by company via note-taking, and also keep track of contacts.
How does Marvin help you source candidates?
Thanks to Marvin, I can quickly filter candidates already in my database by skills and years of experience. This allows me to capitalize on candidates I already know, saving me time. Profiles are more responsive because they already know me.
I can easily tell if the project I'm proposing might interest them by the notes I leave on their profile after each exchange.
Resume reading is also very reliable, enabling us to compile skills noted by the candidate.
Why should a recruiter work on Marvin?
For me, choosing Marvin means not falling into the trap of expensive and impersonal ATSs. The tool is scalable and designed as a "
recruitment process" and not just as a "multi-broadcast" tool, even though Marvin offers this on many job boards.
Marvin is the choice of a personalized approach and proximity. In my opinion, successful recruitment requires reactivity, without getting lost in long, tedious processes and running the risk of losing a candidate. Marvin gives you a quick, simple, efficient and relevant overview of your processes.
The team responds quickly, we're not faced with a "gas factory", for each request I'm considered and the response is quick, the solution relevant.
